Federal attorneys yesterday charged Collins, his son and another man with 13 countings of insurances scam, wire cases of fraud and spurious affirmations stemming from an alleged insider trading strategy centered on an Australian pharmaceutical companionship. Collins has called the charges “meritless” and says he will not step down.
